Streams
There are numerous rivers and streams that make the flow into the St. Lawrence River Valley from their source further west in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. These waterways actually form and sustain the life that makes this region so unique and so vibrant with life.
These rivers range in size from the magnificent Racquette, which is the second largest watershed in the state, to the diminutive feeder streams and brooks such as the Deer, the Little Salmon, and Trout Brook.
All of these waterways play a vital role in the character and make-up of the regions incredible fishery.
