“The North Country’s lakes and rivers fuel our economy with new jobs, new development and tourism, and offer miles of adventure and endless recreation. They are a natural treasure that make the region a great place to work, play, and raise a family. The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce’s FISHCAP initiative to promote the local sports fishing industry will help boost the local economy by attracting tourists from across New York, and around the country and world, to take advantage of the unparalleled outdoor activities the North Country has to offer.”
-- U.S. Senator, Kirsten E. Gillibrand
